Spraying Technique:

Spray using cross-lap method. Always hold the gun at right angles to the surface. Work across or down the surface using the whole arm - do not spray by flexing the wrist. For best coverage maintain recommended spreading rate. Always the first lap should be a mist or guide coat. A normal spray coat on the other lap should immediately follow this. Adjust gun settings to achieve desired patterns.
 

Cleaning:

When changing colours, clean gun and pressure lines by rinsing with water. If leaving overnight clean with light solvent.

Drying Time:

Surface dry in 2 hours, hard dry overnight. Humid conditions may retard the initial drying. Do not apply when humidity is high enough to cause surface condensation or when the temperature may fall below 50C during the drying period.

Safe From Fire:

The system including good quality primer decorative quality plasterboard and passed the necessary British Standard tests to render the surface Class 0.

Precautions:

  • Adequate ventilation is essential and windows should be opened before and during spraying and throughout the drying period.
  • Eye protectors and masks should be worn during application. If splashes enter eyes, was with plenty of water. Remove splashes from skin with a recognized hand cleaner. Keep away from children.
  • Store and use away from heat and flame. Protect from frost. Do not use on surfaces subject to heavy condensation, shower cubicles, etc.
  • Flash point is above 320C (900F) (Abel closed cup method).


Preparation:

All surfaces must be dry and free from all loose and flaking material, dirt and grease. In all cases the appropriate colour of primer should be applied by airless spray or brush and a minimum of 4-hours allowed before recoating
